Everybody loves Postman Pat and everybody loves Rupert Grint - so put the two together and you've got a recipe for success.

And former Harry Potter star Rupes may be hoping to use his involvement in Postman Pat: The Movie as a springboard to pop stardom - because he sings on the soundtrack.

The ginger acting ninja voices Josh, Pat's rival, in the CGI feature film - and has contributed a track called Lightning to the score.

The film also features Stephen Mangan as Postman Pat, Jim Broadbent as Mr Brown and David Tennant as Wilf - with Ronan Keating taking on singing duties for Pat.
