Rupert Grint Set For Broadway Debut In Comedy Revival
Harry Potter star to play acclaimed theatre director in It's Only A Play...
Harry Potter star Rupert Grint is set to make his Broadway debut in a play called, erm, It's Only a Play.
The flame-haired 25-year-old actor - who played Ron Weasley in the wizarding saga - will be joining a star studded cast that includes Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick for the revival of the 1986 Terrence McNally show.
F. Murray Abraham, Stockard Channing and Megan Mullally will also appear in the comedy, which will see Grint playing a hot young theatre director called Frank Finger.
The production appears to tread similar ground to Lane and Broderick's previous stage smash The Producers - which led to a feature film remake of the classic Mel Brooks comedy.
Grint made his West End stage debut last year in a production of Jez Butterworth's Mojo.
