The Dalai Lama has described Russell Brandas a "strange" and "wonderful" man.
Tibetan Buddhism's spiritual leader was introduced by comedian Russ at a huge event at Manchester's MEN Arena on Saturday, and the two seem to have hit it off quite well.
Speaking to the audience, Katy Perrywhen he was a guest on his chat show last week.
He said: "Someone was rude to me. I was angry. I can forgive the human being but not the action. Your speech has been really good for me."
