Russell Brand is reported to have been pursuing Zooey Deschanel.
The newly single comedian is claimed by the US version of Katy Perryjust three days after Zooey had filed for divorce from her husband Ben Gibbard in December 2011.
The magazine's source claimed she was "intrigued" by Russell's interest "but she's heard about his reputation as a womanizer, and isn't sure whether she's ready to rush into another relationship so quickly".
Actress and sometime singer Zooey was recently voted the "[uuid=5904423d-611e-49bf-b482-3a0936f3a201]most desirable woman in the world[/uuid]" in a recent web poll.

Before sitcom New Girl became a hit Zooey was best known for her roles in Elf and 500 Days Of Summer.
