Russell Crowe Gets Stroppy

Over his accent in Robin Hood…

Russell Crowe has walked out of a BBC interview after swearing on air, whilst promoting new film Robin Hood.
The actor was offended after being asked about his accent in the movie on radio show Front Row.
After presenter Mark Lawson suggested there were hints of Irish in his voice, the notoriously grumpy actor said:
“You've got dead ears mate - seriously dead ears if you think that's an Irish accent. Bollocks!"
After being asked if he was going for a Northern English accent Crowe said: “No I was going for an Italian... missed it? F*** me.”
He then walked out of the encounter and apparently “waved a cigarette” at the host.
