Russell Crowe became a father for the second time in the early hours this morning as his wife Danielle Spencer gave birth to a son.
Tennyson Crowe was born at Sydneys Royal North Shore Hospital weighing a healthy 3.6kg. It has not yet been made clear whether he was named after the poet or the sport.
Russells manager read a statement after the birth, saying: Mother, father and baby are doing extremely well. The couple already have a two-year-old son " the more conventionally named Charlie.
