Check Out Ryan Gosling In The First Trailer For Blade Runner 2049
“I had your job, once.”
The first trailer has finally arrived for long-awaited sequel Blade Runner 2049, pitting Ryan Gosling head to head with the returning Harrison Ford. “I had your job, once,” snarls the latter. “I was good at it.”
“Things were simpler then,” replies Gosling’s Officer K, a brand new Blade Runner seemingly responsible for tracking down Replicants, just as Deckard was in the original film. He looks pretty tired of it too, mind you, although he does know how to wear that trench coat like a boss…

According to the filmmakers, Ford’s character will only appear in approximately a third of the film, with Gosling shouldering most of the work as the story’s legit leading man. Plot details are being kept ludicrously tightly guarded, but we do know that the new adventure will be set 30 years after the original, and that Gosling will be joined by Jared Leto, Robin Wright and Dave Bautista along the way.
Arrival helmer Denis Villeneuve will be directing the film, with original creator Ridley Scott keeping himself involved as an Executive Producer. Blade Runner 2049 will hit our screens on 6 October 2017.
