He's a Hollywood hunk who's been named the 'Sexiest Man Alive', but Ryan Gosling has picked up a rather homely hobby.
The star of Drive and Gangster Squad has revealed in an interview with GQ Australia that he would enjoy nothing more than spending the day knitting.
"I did this scene in Lars And The Real Girl where I was in a room full of old ladies who were knitting, and it was an all-day scene, so they showed me how. It was one of the most relaxing days of my life.
"If I had to design my perfect day, that would be it... And you get something out of it at the end. You get a nice present. For someone who wants an oddly shaped, off-putting scarf."
But it seems Ryan himself inspires more risque activities in his fans - or in actress Anna Kendrick anyway.
The Twilight actress became a hit on Twitter yesterday when she joked: "Ugh - NEVER going to a Ryan Gosling movie in a theater again. Apparently masturbating in the back row is still considered 'inappropriate'."
