Ryan Reynolds has revealed that he struggles to find words to describe his feelings for his wife Blake Lively.

The 36-year-old Green Lantern star - who was previously married to Scarlett Johansson - explained that contrary to reports, he is not reluctant to talk about his personal life.

In an interview with Details magazine, Reynolds said: "I don't intentionally try to be evasive about that stuff. If you ask me to describe my relationship, I mean, words are too clumsy to accurately describe how I feel in that regard, particularly in an interview."

Ryan added: "It's a strange thing. I understand the climate we live in and why people are curious. But it's just tough and almost emotionally violent for anyone, I think - to see your personal life summarised in a sentence."

What Reynolds did reveal, however, is that he and Blake are hoping for children - and lots of them.

"We'd love to have a big family," he told the magazine. "We both come from big families - my parents did four [children], Blake's did five.

"A lot of people say it's crazy, but we'll only know when we're there, you know? We'll walk through that fire pretty happily, I think."

Ryan and Blake tied the knot in September last year, but [uuid=2fb233ca-b4a4-4fc6-9b08-8c6616bfa7e7]rumours that they were already expecting a little one[/uuid] turned out to be false.
