Sam And The Womp Take Top Spot In UK Singles Chart
Sam And The Womp have gone straight in at No 1 in the Official UK Singles Chart with their debut single Bom Bom.
The trio's catchy club track sold 107,000 copies - knocking Rita Ora's How We Do (Party) off the top spot.
Rita had to be content with No 2, while Wiley slipped down another place this week to No 3 with his Heatwave.
And the knock-on effect continued with Emeli Sandé's Read All About It (Pt III) dropping one place to No 4.
Taylor Swift rounded out the top five, getting a new entry with We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.
Meanwhile, over in the Official UK Albums Chart, Emeli Sandé is continuing to reap the rewards of her Olympic performances - with her debut album Our Version Of Events staying in the top spot.
Paloma Faith's Fall To Grace was another non-mover at No 2, while Bloc Party's Four was a new entry at No 3.
There were also new entries at No 4 and No 5 from The Darkness with their comeback album Hot Cakes and Jessie Ware with Devotion.
