Geordie Shore lad Sam Gowland might be used tospirits when he's out on the toon, but he was totally terrified when he came face to face with the paranormal on 5STAR's Celebrity Ghost Hunt: Haunted Holiday.

Sam joined host Rylan Clarke, along with Blue's Simon Webbe and Celebs Go Dating's Nadia Essex and it's fair to say the whole group were SHOOK during last night's premiere episode.

We've never seen Sam run so fast in our lives.

In the clip, the lad holds his chain totally still while the potential spirit in the room is asked to twist the face of the necklace. And when it appears to followorders, Sam totally loses his head with a scream before literally sprinting away.

A second scene in the video shows Sam lose his absolute sh*t when a lamp gets knocked overwithout anyone touching it, which prompts Rylan Clarke to actually CRY.

The pair of them frantically runacross the room, and a panicked Sam says: "The lamp, something just slapped the lamp," before desperately asking the crew: "Did you get that?"

"Someone slapped the lamp... clear as day," he freaks.

And fans were absolutely living for the former Love Island star's appearance on the show.

One person tweeted: "Omg I cant cope with this ghost hunt @Rylan @SamGowland123 when it turned the necklace omg I'm FREAKING OUTTTTT [sic]."

And another added: "This is hilarious 😂feel like @SamGowland123 is going to have a nervous breakdown haha 😂👻#celebghosthunt @Celeb_GhostHunt."

A third wrote: "@SamGowland123 on #CelebrityGhostHunt has me in tears 😂I’d be crapping my pants aswell 😭👻[sic}."

Others hinted the spirits seemed to be coming for Sam in particular, as someone wrote: "The spirits seem to be drawn to you so far, your reactions are so funny haha #CelebrityGhostHunt."

While others were just appreciating the pure entertainment: "@SamGowland123 on #CelebrityGhostHunt has me in tears 😂I’d be crapping my pants aswell," wrote another fan.

And Sam still seems pretty terrified by the whole ordeal, tweeting: "Never in my life have I experienced anything like that mate !! Lost my head !! Can’t wait to see it !! [sic]."

Yikes, it's sound like the spirits really took a shining to our lad.
