Sam Smith & Ed Sheeran Take On David Bowie For BBC's British Artist Of The Year

The nominees for British and International Artists Of The Year are in...

Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith will take on the mighty David Bowie in the British Artist of the Year category at the BBC Music Awards.

The likes of Elbow, Jungle and Royal Blood will also compete for the accolade, which will be handed out at the ceremony at London's Earls Court on Thursday (December 11).

In the International Artist of the Year category, Taylor Swift, Pharrell Williams and Lorde will battle it out with veterans Dolly Parton, Gregory Porter and Prince.

Performers on the night include One Direction, Take That, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran Paloma Faith, Calvin Harris, George Ezra and Catfish And The Bottlemen, with Labrinth and Ella Henderson also set to collaborate live at the event.
