Sam Smith has given his verdict on Vin Diesel's rendition of his hit single, Stay With Me.

Earlier this week, the Guardians Of The Galaxy actor covered Smith's No.1 track, with Breakfast Show hosts Dave Berry and Lisa Snowdon calling Sam in Chicago to get his opinionon Vin's efforts.

The Money On My Mind hitmaker revealed: "First of all I thought it was going to be good, because I just thought if it's Vin Diesel singing it must be great.

"But when I heard it, it was the most hilarious thing I've ever heard in my life. It's amazing. It's brilliant. The falsetto and the chest voice is just unreal."

[related]Smith added: "It's kind of weird for me, 'cos I remember watching 'xXx' when I was like 11 years old, so it's so weird seeing him sing my song. I definitely think we should do a duet one day… It'd be amazing (laughs)."
