Last night (October 23), the MOBO Awards 2014 brought a splash of glam to Wembley’s SSE Arena with a host of celebs turning up to celebrate the show, which saw UK soul singer Sam Smith pluck up four awards; including Best Album for his smash LP In the Lonely Hour.
Th 22-year old was the man of the moment, scooping up the most prestigious honours including, Best Song for his breakout single Stay With Me. Clearly overwhelmed by his wins, Smith thanked his fans for acting as his "personal therapist".
Speaking on his wins, Kim Kardashian’s BFF said: “This is truly a dream come true. It feels amazing. I hardly ever win awards and I never got awards in school for anything so it is really surreal for me to have five in one day.
"I don’t know where I’ll put them all. I need a cabinet. Well actually I need a house big enough for a cabinet.” Hosted by X Factor stars Mel B and Sarah-Jane Crawford, the rest of the show boasted performances from the likes of Jessie J – who belted out an epic rendition of her latest No.1 single Bang Bang - Professor Green and Tori Kelly - who sung Lullaby - and Jeremih, who closed the show with his summer smash Don’t Tell ‘Em.
