Sandra Bullock Nets $70 Million Out Of This World Paycheck For 'Gravity'
The sky's the limit for the newly minted Oscar winner...
Sandra Bullock will reportedly make a cool $70 million (£42 million) from her role in hit movie Gravity.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress - who has scored an Oscar nod for her part as Ryan Stone in the space thriller - pocketed an initial $20 million fee from the movie, as well as earning 15% of Warner Bros' box office takings.
That includes revenue from DVD, Blu-Ray, TV and video on demand.
The film, which was released in October, has so far earned more than $700 million worldwide and is expected to make at least another $50 million in the near future.
Gravity could also make considerably more if it does well at the Oscars on Sunday. It is nominated for 10 awards including Best Director and Best Picture, as well as Bullock’s nomination for Best Actress.
Last year Sandra was named the seventh highest paid actress in the world by Forbes magazine, earning an estimated $14 million between 2012 and 2013.
No doubt her stellar paycheck for Gravity means she will place even higher on the list this year.
