Sarah Harding 'Defiant Over Arrest On Twitter'

Sarah Harding has appeared to [uuid=927b690b-0dc5-41c0-8d40-11af7368e503]Girls Aloud star was caught using her mobile phone by police when driving her 4x4 in London and refused to pull over.

Despite a source telling The Sun that Harding was "very upset", she has remained defiant on the social-networking site.

According the The Daily Star, Sarah referenced the incident when working on material for her forthcoming solo LP, writing: "If the cover track I'm about to record in my studio tonight didnt relate to most of humanity I probably wouldn't bother. Hope u get 2 hear it.

"I want to inspire... want to raise eyebrows...and hopefully, eventually, be understood…."

She added: "…as my idol Marilyn once said "If I'd observed all the rules, I'd never had got anywhere."

The Something New singer has since been charged with two offences and bailed to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court on April 16.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman later stated: "The charges are failing to stop for police and driving whilst using a mobile phone."
