While Spidey gets ready to swing into cinemas this week, Scarlett Johansson has been hyping up another Marvelextravaganza, with the star teasing the prospect of a “devastating” scene in the upcoming sequel. And apparently, it involves a reunion between Black Widow and the Hulk…

“I just finished Avengers: Infinity War,” said Johansson on Inside The Actor’s Studio. “The first one. My character has this ongoing relationship with Mark Ruffalo's character. I had such devastation that day. I don't know why. I was so devastated.”

“It was something about this character that Mark plays, and this is something that should feel so solid and suddenly doesn't – and it reminded me of so much of the things going on in my own life at the time.”

Sounds pretty emosh to us. Just how Hulk will be reintroduced into the mix remains to be seen, although we’d imagine the events of Thor: Ragnarok will have left their mark on the big man. After all, being forced into gladiatorial combat probably won’t have been the best thing for his anger issues…

Directed by the Russo brothers and co-starring practically all the major players from the MCU, Avengers: Infinity War part 1 will open in the UK on 27 April 2018.
