Black Widow Movie Will Happen - Stan Lee
Comic book legend thinks Scarlett Johansson's character will get standalone film...
Marvel Comics maestro Stan Lee has suggested that Black Widow will be the subject of a standalone movie.
Played by Scarlett Johansson, the character has been a popular feature of the Avengers and Captain America movies.
And the 91-year-old writer behind Spider-Man, Iron Man, X-Men and Hulk - among others - told fans at an event in Canada that she is likely to get her own film.
Comic Book Resources quoted him as saying: "We haven't made a Black Widow movie but she's been in some of our movies, and she will be featured more prominently as we move forward.
"And the chances are she will have her own movie because eventually all the superheroes are going to have their own movies.
"They are already working on Ant-Man, Dr Strange and the Black Panther and there are others I am not allowed to talk about."
