Scarlett Johansson And Lupita Nyong'o For The Jungle Book?

Female stars reportedly in talks to join remake of Rudyard Kipling's classic...

Scarlett Johansson and Lupita Nyong'o are both reported to be in negotiations to appear in a live action/CGI hybrid remake of The Jungle Book.

The pair - two of the hottest women in Hollywood right now - are apparently being sought as voice talent for director Jon Favreau's new version of the perennial favourite.

The Hollywood Reporter writes: "Nyong'o is in final negotiations to play Rakcha, a mother wolf who adopts Mowgli.

"Johansson is in earlier stages of talks to voice the character of Kaa, the python who eats other animals by hypnotizing them."

The movie's main villain, suave tiger Shere Khan, is being voiced by Stringer Bell himself, Idris Elba.

Set for release next October, the Disney project will have competition from a rival Warner Brothers movie directed by Andy Serkis.
