Scarlett Moffatt's Mum Defends The Star After Online Trolls Brand Her A 'Manipulative Bully'
Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt is defended by her mum after being called a bully by I'm A Celebrity viewers
Scarlett Moffatt has been in the firing line since parachuting into the I’m A Celebrity jungle Down Under with many branding her a bully.
The Gogglebox and former Beauty School Cop Outs star has seen her nations sweetheart status jeaprodized following a number of run ins with fellow campmate Martin Roberts.
But now the star’s mum Betty (who many will recognise from the Gogglebox couch) has come to her defence to tell us how Scar Mo would never hurt a fly.
“Scarlett does daft stuff and lacks common sense but she’s not someone to tear other people down,” her mum said.
Indeed, Betty thinks those accusing 26-year-old Scarlett of being “manipulative” and a “bully” on Twitter should take a long hard look in the mirror.
“It’s her choice what she wants to do with her life, but she’s not hurting anybody,” the proud mum told The Daily Mirror.
“If calling my daughter thick or stupid or anything else makes you feel better then crack on,” she hissed.
Tonight will see the first famous face eliminated from the I’m A Celeb camp during the live eviction show on ITV.
With Scarlett and Martin both crying multiple times during the show’s two weeks so far we expect many more water works moments before the sixteenth series finishes in December.
