Scott Disick may have missed daughter Penelope’s 3rd birthday, but reports claim he is still in regular contact with his kids despite splitting from their mother, Kourtney Kardashian.

Last week, The Lord took to Instagram to pay homage to his baby girl after missing her b’day, with it alleged that he decided to stay with friends in Florida instead of joining in the celebrations at Disneyland.

According to TMZ, the 32-year old hasn’t physically seen Penelope and sons Mason and Reign for more than a month, due to the fact that it’s impossible for him to be around Kourtney without having a ‘nuclear argument’.

Sources claim that despite his relationship with Kourt being “a disaster”, Scott is still in ‘constant touch’ with his two oldest children, FaceTiming them on a regular basis.

It’s thought that while Kim Kardashian’s older sister has “extremely bad feelings” for Disick, she is encouraging her children to maintain a relationship with him.

While neither Kourt or Disick have directly commented on the reports, 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' creator Ryan Seacrest has broken his silence.

Speaking on Monday’s' Today Show', he revealed: “Obviously, you hate to see a split with people that you know and a family that you know and love. Hopefully things can work for the best of them."

When asked whether Disick would be leaving the hit E! show, Seacrest hinted that the cameras would reveal the truth behind their break-up.

He teased: “Well the show is reality so whatever happens, happens in real time.”
