Michael Cera Is Scared Of Teenage Girls!
The Scott Pilgrim star reveals his fears to Filmclub
Scott Pilgrim vs the World is one of the most highly anticipated films of the summer, and FILMCLUB – the nationwide after-school film initiative - took two junior reporters to interview the cast and director and attend the star-studded red-carpet European Premiere.
Filmcluber Victoria Bowes asked the stars if they would like to be seen as heartthrob, or if the attention would scare them instead.
Leading man Michael Cera replied, “Teenage girls are scary - they always will be. And after they grow up, there will be a whole new breed of teenage girls being scary…”
At which point co-star Jason Schwartzman joined in:
“They’re like lizards tails, they keep coming back. It would be scary to be yelled at and chased, but I think that my personal life is so boring that if thousands of screaming girls did follow me, they would quickly want to get out of there!
“They would probably start asking how long one person could stay inside a book store.”
Anna Kendrick was asked what it was like to be a fan boy pin-up after also appearing in Twilight, while Director Edgar Wright revealed a very embarrassing moment during filming!
