Scotty T has more reason to tune into Love Island than the rest of us after cracking a joke about the fact that his past encounters keep turning up on the ITV2 show.

The former Geordie Shore lad made reference to the fact that ex Liana Isadoraa Van Riel featured on the 2016 series of the show and previously made some comments about their romance.

At the time, she said of their connection: “We still text and stuff. We’re still mates. Scotty is lovely, I met him when he was filming in our club. I love my blondes. I love my tall blondes with pretty faces.”

After the line-up of the 2018 series was announced, the 30-year-old took to Twitter to make the following remark: “Wkd! Cannot wait to see more previous encounters grace me TV!”

Fans began trying to piece together who he could be referring to this time around, with some people suggesting that he could potentiallybe familiar with Laura Anderson, a 29-year-old air stewardess from Scotland.

Having recently announced that she has two famous exes, she said: “I don’t think they would say anything bad about me. One used to say I was very argumentative but I think I’ve learnt from that.”

Other options include Dani Dyer, Kendall Rae-Knight, Samira Mighty and model Hayley Hughes. Having said that,it’s totally possible that Scotty was just cracking a joke about the past and doesn’t have a connection with *any* of the 2018 cast.
