Scotty T Comes Out Fighting For Scarlett Moffatt After She’s Bodyshamed For Instagram Picture

Scotty T has jumped to the defense of Scarlett Moffatt after she was accused of altering her Instagram pictures to make herself look slimmer than she actually is.

The Geordie Shore lad was clearly fed up of all the reports about the Gogglebox star’s weight and decided that somebody had to step up and point out that it’s high-time we stopped slamming women about their bodies.

The situation all went down after Scarlett was papped wearing the same dress she wore in a recent social-media upload, and didn’t look quite as polished, preened, or well-angled as she did in the image that made it to Instagram.

Cue suggestions that the 27-year-old was deliberately misleading young girls about her appearance – something that she had previously warned fans to keep in mind when scrolling through their feeds.  

Scotty screenshotted the article in question and made his feelings about the headline crystal clear: “This is f**king discusting!!! What happened to empowering our women! Not only that you haven’t even had the balls to put your name to the article! You f**king d**kheads!!!

He added: "She looks amazing in EVERY PICTURE.”

Scarlett thanked Scotty for his input and responded: “When online papers/magazines try their hardest to use unflattering photos and drag women down do they realise what they’re doing to peoples mental health...

"Tell me the size I should be please! I got slated when I slimmed down to a size 8 and I get slated when I’m a size 12. So please let me know what measurements I should be. And they wonder why young women are reduced to surgery!”

Good on Scotty for tackling this issue head-on, and props to Scarlett for pointing out the hypocrisy of people finding new ways to criticise her figure.
