Scotty T has come through with some words of wisdom about how little test results really matter long-term when you consider how many career pathsdon’t require an in-depth knowledge of the Pythagoras theorem.

The former Geordie Shore lad has taken to social-media to give some of his young fans a pep talk before they head into exam halls up and down the country and regurgitate a bunch of facts that they might never need again.

'Let's get checking out whether a bunch of grown adults can pass a real GCSE exam...'

“If your doing your GCSE’s today don’t worry people,” he began, before adding that he’s never been required to show off his certificates in a job interview: “On every application I ever had I put 7A’s 4B’s and a C and never once had to prove that I actually had them.”

While we don’t endorse lying about your grades on ~any~ document, his follow-up advice was actually surprisingly thoughtful: “So don’t get stressed do your best and remember your best is always good enough.”

Naturally a couple of people came through with some negative comments about “sh*t jobs,” which prompted Scotty to respond: “The pressure on kids for exams through out their school lives is ridiculously intense

"So rather than force pressure it’s always good to let people know that sometimes your best is good enough. They will be putting themselves under enough pressure.”
