Has Selena Gomez Slammed Justin Bieber In A New Song Called Bad Girlfriend?
Is Selena hitting back at their well documented relationship drama?
Justin Bieber might want to lay low when Selena Gomez drops her new album – apparently there is a song all about their relationship on it.
Selena has been hitting the studio with her Same Old Love collaborator Charli XCX and according to reports the girls are enjoying writing about failed past relationships together.
The potentially Bieber slamming song in question is said to be called Bad Girlfriend.
According to The Sun, the track is actually a female empowerment tune intended to identify the fact that women are frequently painted as the villain when relationships fail while men get off scot-free.
Lyrics are said to include the line: “I know I’m not there for you or there when you call. I’m a bad girlfriend/I’m a bad girlfriend.”
A source said of the tune: “It’s all about a boyfriend the girl is no longer really into and has finally gotten wise to. It’s tongue-in-cheek and Selena and Charli knew exactly who they were writing about.”
They continued: “She sings about how a good girlfriend would just carry on and let their boyfriend walk all over them, with their cheating and whatnot, but she’s changed her ways.”
The source adds: “It will undoubtedly be tweaked but they were really happy with how the songwriting session went and were loving slating their exes.”
Watch out Biebs!
