Selena Gomez: "I Try To Avoid Reading Gossip"
Justin Bieber's girlfriend claims some rumours hurt her feelings...
Selena Gomezhas revealed she tries to avoid reading gossip about her private life, admitting that she gets annoyed with the paparazzi.
When asked if she ever reads stories about herself in magazines or on the internet, the 19-year old claimed: "I try to avoid gossip, but it’s obviously unavoidable. Gossip is everywhere!
"There are moments where I read things that hurt my feelings, but not most of the time, I don’t surround my life with magazines or internet."
As for the interest in her private life, Gomez stated: "I feel like I give a lot of myself to my fans, but I also keep a lot of things to myself. There are certain parts of my life that should be just for me and nobody else."
Seeing as she has managed to bag herself hot pop totty Justin Bieber, Selena had this bit of dating advice for her army of admirers: "The only thing I ever tell my fans is that it’s not worth pretending to be someone that you’re not.
"I’ve conformed to be with guys that I’ve liked before. It’s very easy to want to be what they want you to be, but it’s no fun if you’re pretending to be someone else. You end up being really miserable.
"I’m very straightforward now. I will be completely honest with everybody. You either like me or you don’t like me – but it’s better to be honest and to find out the truth rather than pretending to be something you’re not. Don’t do it!"
