When Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber were dating it was like the whole world was in their relationship with them, and that’s partly because they were so open about their feelings for each other.

So it’s understandable that SelGo has since decided that she won’t be doing that again, and admits that it actually ‘came back to bite her’.

During her recent cover interview with Vogue, the journalist notes her reaction when he asks her what’s going on with current boyfriend, The Weeknd.

"She tells me that everything she has said about her relationships in the past has come back to bite her, and that she will never do it again.”

Though her love life isn’t entirely able to fly under the radar, especially when the pair are gong on dates which involve them renting out an entire cinema screen just for the two of them.

While Selena later notes in the interview that her success is actually due to her honesty, so perhaps there’s still a slither of a chance she’ll open up yet.

“I’ve been very vulnerable with my fans, and sometimes I say things I shouldn’t. But I have to be honest with them. I feel that’s a huge part of why I’m where I am,” she said.

We guess only time will tell.
