Selena Gomez and Orlando Bloom may have fuelled dating rumours after arriving in Canada together, but reports claim the pair went to some extreme lengths to avoid being snapped as an item.

As we previously reported, the Slow Down singer and Bloom were seen leaving LAX airport together and were later seen arriving in Vancouver for a We Day charity event.

Perez Hilton later revealed that the suspected couple were then seen arriving at the same hotel, where Sel-Go quickly ducked into the lobby while Bloom signed autographs.

However, a source has since told Hollywood Life that the pair went to 'extreme lengths' not to be snapped backstage at We Day, stating: "I haven’t seen Selena and Orlando hanging out, they’ve both been doing their own thing.

"They’ve hardly been in the same room together but that could be on purpose since they know all eyes are on them.”

[related]The website adds that Sel and Orlando may have avoided each other deliberately as ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber's pal Alfredo Flores was also present.

Their insider claimed: "Selena told Justin that she was going to be on that flight with Orlando, and Justin was definitely jealous and upset.

"But instead of showing that to Selena, he made sure his buddyAlfredo was with her to pretty much watch her and report back to Justin if anything happened."

Selena has since left Canada, sharing a snap of herself and friend on a private jet to Los Angeles.
