Selena Gomez Reveals The Real Meaning Behind Matching Tattoos With Best Friends
The singer recently underwent an inking with some of her closest pals
Selena Gomez has opened up about the meaning behind the matching tattoos she and her best friends underwent recently.
The singer took to Instagram to document the gang’s decision to undergo an inking together in which they all had the number “4” etched on various parts of their bodies.
In a series of posts, Selena discussed why that number in particular means so much to them: “These women have stayed by my side for 7 years. 4, because you are my 4 for the rest of my life. I love you ladies. You all inspire me to be better, stronger, closer to god and we have lived the most INSANE story together already. Can't wait for 50 more!!"
It sounds like the process wasn’t an easy one, with friend Raquelle Stevens having an “actual panic attack” while being tattooed. In a separate post for pal Courtney Barry, Selena penned an emotional tribute in honour of her 26th birthday.
"The way you handle life's most confusing moments is indescribable and graceful. You are moved by the littlest stories to the most heartbreaking ones, you will give someone your perfume if they say you smell nice, you are freaking hilarious and always stand firm in your faith, a loving sister, an amazing friend and a beautiful daughter.”
This comes as the singer opened up about her recent kidney transplant and revealed that her own story has inspired countless fans to “find their own courage” and explore the idea of donating themselves.
