Selena Gomez has taken to Instagram to show off her brand new tattoo.

Following her recent relationship drama with on-off beau Justin Bieber, the Slow Down singer paid a visit to celebrity tattoo artist Bang Bang McCurdy in New York for a new ink.

Selena herself then uploaded the same shot of her tatt, writing next to it: "Art by @bangbangnyc -- from my first to my last. It's always this fool."

Written in Arabic script, the phrase translates to Love Yourself First. E! News spoke exclusively with Bang Bang, who said Selena came to him “about a month ago” to ink the piece.

He said: "Selena already had it written out how she wanted. She had been wanting this one for a while.”

Needless to say, Gomez was in love with her new tatt. Bang Bang also notes that this is not Selena’s first, but that he’s worked on her three times now and she has a total of “five to six” tats, and tshe has plans for more.
