Pop princess [uuid=88410911-2d1d-496c-bec9-ac60160229a3]Selena Gomez[/uuid] has plenty to celebrate this month - she's turned 21, has a new album out - and she's been nominated for 'Best Pop Video' at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards!
MTV News US caught up with the brunette beauty this week to hear more about her clip for Come & Get It and find out whether she thinks she has a shot at taking home the Moonman.
Selena said: "VMA, that's crazy. I mean honestly, not even just because it's my song; I just genuinely think it was a beautiful video.
"The dancers were amazing, the dance was beautiful, the shots were gorgeous, so I'm super stoked. I'm stoked for Anthony Mandler who directed it too because obviously it was his creation."
Gomez is up against some tough competition from [uuid=bf82d51f-31d3-4353-8ab2-155f8409909c]Bruno Mars[/uuid], [uuid=ccc12423-0308-4d9b-94b1-e25833e99c02]Justin Timberlake[/uuid], [uuid=96c8e5f8-b542-45e5-bb40-ff8989916131]fun.[/uuid], and her good pal [uuid=f488f261-e7c6-4b5c-bd1a-112a696c5699]Miley Cyrus[/uuid] in the 'Best Pop Video' category - but has she prepped her winner's speech just in case?
Selena dished: "No, I'm not good at writing speeches down because if I do, then it gets in the way. I'm not even planning on winning yet, so don't jinx me, but I'm really excited, I really am."

The 2013 VMAs Air LIVE from Brooklyn’s Barclays Center for the first time ever on Sunday, August 25 at 9pm ET/PT.
