Selena Gomez Wants To Take On Bollywood Next
The 'Hands To Myself' singer reveals she wants to work with A. R. Rahman...
Selena Gomez is no stranger to Hollywood and she's apparently now ready to venture into Bollywood.
The superstar rose to fame as an actress before launching one of the biggest pop careers of the decade and has went on to produce for Netflix and beyond, so she could pretty much do it all.
However, she doesn't necessarily want to act or produce for a Bollywood movie just yet, instead revealing her interest in offering something musical for one in the future.

While promoting her new film Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, she revealed that she would love to work with Oscar-winning composer A. R. Rahman.
Rahman has sold over 200 million (!) combined albums across the tens of soundtracks he has composed and produced, including Slumdog Millionaire and the massive Bombay, which has sold 15 million albums since 1995.
“I like A. R. Rahman’s work. He is a global figure today. I would love to sing or be part of his compositions," she said.
"I think it would be beautiful to sing for [a] Bollywood [movie]”, she continued, before revealing that she has been paying attetion to trends in Indian music recently.
"I have been following a few musicians in India and I believe they are wonderful," Selena said, perhaps hinting that her highly-anticipated new album may feature some unexpected influences.
Selena's second solo album Revival was released almost three years ago to critical acclaim and commercial success, yet its follow-up has taken quite some time.
One-off singles 'Bad Liar' and 'Fetish' were released last summer before she took some personal time out of the spotlight, yet she recently returned to music with 'Back to You', from the latest 13 Reasons Why soundtrack.
If a change of direction like this is to explain the delay then we are more than happy to wait a little longer, because this would be epic!
