Selena Gomez has admitted to feeling "very nervous" ahead of her solo Stars Dance World Tour.

The brunette beauty, who performed her first show in Vancouver last night (August 14), told MTV News US about her pre-show jitters.

Selena revealed: "I definitely have anxiety. I'm very nervous, but in the best possible way."

"I love being nervous. The adrenaline takes over and it just makes me want to give my all, so I'm really nervous."

The 21-year-old star also said she wants to make these shows bigger and better than anything she's ever done before.

Gomez continued: "This is a lot for me. I've got a lot to prove. I've got a lot to live up to, so I'm just going to try to focus on making it the best it can be … Hopefully, people will enjoy it."
