Last month, a gunman opened fire in the LGBTQ nightclub Pulse, in Orlando, Florida. The homophobic attack left at least 49 dead, with dozens more injured, before the gunman was shot dead by police.
Other artists (and there are A LOT) featuring on the single include: Mary J Blige, Jason Derulo, Tyler Glenn, Halsey, Ty Herndon, Imagine Dragons, Juanes, Adam Lambert, Mary Lambert, Jennifer Lopez, Kacey Musgraves, MNEK, Alex Newell, P!nk, Prince Royce, Nate Ruess, RuPaul, Jussie Smollett and Meghan Trainor.
This is the second Orlando tribute track announced this week, with Jennifer Lopez revealing that she too is working on a song honouring the victims. That song, currently unreleased, will also be raising money for charity.
It’s heart-warming to see so many people coming together to offer help and support. If you've already bought the single and you'd like to further support those affected by the tragedy in Orlando, visit http://www.gofundme.com/PulseVictimsFund.
