Tinder's New Sharing Function Will Turn You Into The Ultimate Matchmaker

See someone you think your mate would fancy? No probs.

Being your mate's wingman on a night out just got a 21st century makeover thanks to Tinder, who've just released an app update that will allow you to 'share' matches you think would suit your pals better than you.

When you think about itthe latest development makes total sense, because we've all come across guys or gals on a swipe marathon who might not be quite right for us, but who you just know would have serious chem with a friend.

Clearly Tinder are keen for swiping to become more of a group activity too and now users will be able to text matches they think would suit a friend better straight to their phone.

Then all they have to do is open the link in the text, swipe right or left and wait to see if it's a match.

They'll have to be speedy about it though as the recommendation link will only lastfor 72 hours and will automatically expire after it's been clicked five times.

Hate the sound of this? Don't fret: the update is yet to be fully rolled out and in the mean time, you can justhop into your Tinder settings and make your profile un-shareable if you don't like the idea of it.

So what do you reckon - will you be swiping right or left for this update? Let us know with a tweet to @MTVUK already.
