Shaggy Thinks His Music Could Help Defeat ISIS

Shaggy has made the claim of the year, and that's a statement we are willing to stick by considering it's only July.

The Boombastic singer, who's actually called Orville Richard Burrell (haha), has given a bizarre interview in which he says his music could be the answer to a big part of the world's problems right now, ISIS in particular.

"If you’re able to cut a man’s head off, you’re sick," he told the Miami New Times. "But right, music evokes emotion."

"So if they’re listening to Shaggy music or reggae music, they’re not going to want to cut somebody’s head off."

Shaggy, who actually served in the Gulf War, goes on to add that his music is all about love.

"There’s two things you want to do when you listen to reggae: You get somebody pregnant, or you’re fucking high," he added.

"High people don’t want to kill nothing; they want to love. They need to bag some Jamaican weed and distribute it among Isis."

Ending with the bold statement of, "I guarantee there won’t be any more wars out there."

That's a very strong promise to make, Shaggy.
