Shakira has confirmed she's expecting her first child with her footballer boyfriend, Gerard Piqué.
Writing on her official website, the She Wolf hitmaker announced: "As some of you may know, Gerard and I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby!
"At this time we have decided to give priority to this unique moment in our lives and postpone all the promotional activities planned over the next few days."
She continued: "This means I will not be able to be a part of the iHeartRadio Music Festival... I'd like to thank Clear Channel and my fans for their constant love and understanding. Big kiss!"
The iHeartRadio Music Festival is due to take place this weekend in Las Vegas.
Shakira and Piqué met back in 2010 when he was featured in the music video for her South Africa World Cup theme song Waka Waka (This Time for Africa).
The 35-year old later confirmed their relationship in March of 2011, posting a picture on Facebook of the two saying: "I present to you my sunshine" in Spanish.
The news comes after the announcement that Shakira and Usher will be replacing Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green on the new series of The Voice USA for just one season.
After her new role was confirmed, Shakira tweeted: "Thanks for your affectionate messages & good vibes! I'm so excited to be a part of #TheVoice next to such talented colleagues. Shak."
