Shakira has confessed she would never strip completely naked for a photoshoot because of her strong Catholic background.
The sexy singer, who donned a flesh-coloured body suit leaving little to the imagination in her She Wolf video claimed that although she is reluctant to get naked now, she could be persuaded in the further.
Shakira told Tagesspiegel: "I don't want to and I don't have to. I couldn't strip naked. Maybe when I'm 40 I will change my mind."
"Around ten years ago I couldn't imagine putting on a skin-tight body suit and high heels and dancing in a golden cage, hanging upside down from the bars. Today I'm saying I'll never show myself naked. Our opinions change all the time."
The Gypsy singer added: "I was brought up in a very Catholic environment. My father has Lebanese roots. I grew up on the north coast of Columbia where life is quite traditional. There are things I'm not courageous enough to do."
Shakira recently played at the opening ceremony for this year's FIFA World Cup with her official anthem for the tournament in South Africa, Waka Waka.
