Shakira Lectures At Oxford

The Colombian star wore a cute pink dress and cardigan whilst appearing in the famous debating hall and joked:

 

“I’m mystified as to why you are here, as there won’t be any hip shaking whatsoever!”

 

 

Shakira spoke for half an hour to 400 assembled students about her pop career and charity work.

 

She said: “So how do I go from Barranquilla, Colombia to the same stage as Newton and Churchill? Lord knows I’m no Mother Teresa!”

 

The She Wolf singer also said it was a “privilege” to appear on the stage.
