Shakira has spilled that 1-year-old son Milan takes after his daddy, professional footballer Gerard Piqué.
She revealed during an appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon that Milan is: “After the soccer ball all day long, he likes kicking the ball.” But the Empire singer confessed that she leaves the kickabouts with their son to Gerard because she’s “terrible” at football.
When asked whether Milan had also inherited his mother’s musical talent, Shakira replied it is too early too tell but: “He loves drumming.” Last week Gerard gave a glimpse of his son’s skills on the drums when he posted a video of baby Milan sitting on Shakira’s lap in a studio and bashing on the instrument. “Drumming with mom!” he captioned the pic.
Shakira also appeared on the Today show this morning, where she continued to gush about her adorable baby boy. "One of the surprises that I've gotten from motherhood is that Milan teaches me so many lessons," she said.
"I've become a student of his in a way. He has taught me to let go of the reins a little bit and be more punctual too. And all of that has to do with the fact that he’s just a wise little creature"
