Sharon Stone has caused outrage over earthquake comments
Sharon Stone has shocked the world with comments over the recent devastating earthquake in China.
Speaking to press at Cannes Film Festival, Ms Stone said that the recent travesty, that left over 68,000 dead, couldve occured due to bad Karma.
Stone, giving reference to Beijing's policy on Tibet, told press "I thought, 'Is that karma?' When you are not nice, bad things happen to you", the footage from the interview is all over the web.
Ms Stone continued "I'm not happy about the way the Chinese are treating the Tibetans because I don't think anyone should be unkind to anyone else And then all this earthquake and all this stuff happened, and I thought, is that karma?"
As can be expected, the comments have outraged people throughout the world, and in China many are beginning to boycott anything associated with the actress.
The Beijing Times has reported of major department stores boycotting Christian Dior products that feature Sharon Stone advertising and huge cinema complex UME is reported to be rejecting any of her films.
