Shawn Mendes and Khalid are two of the most successful artists in the world right now. Shawn continually wows us with perfectly crafted hit singles ('Stitches', 'In My Blood') and Khalid took over the world with his debut album 'American Teen' last year.

And now they've joined forces for a duet. 'Youth' is out today and it is as amazing as you would expect it to be.

YES. THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING. A STUNNING KHALID AND SHAWN MENDES DUET DOES EXIST.

The 'There's Nothing Holding Me Back' singer debuted the single on Beats 1 today as Zane Lowe's world record and it's safe to say that it doesn't disappoint. It starts out slow before a bassline kicks in and it erupts into an incredible singalong chorus.

The song is about holding onto your youth in the wake of adversity. It's an anthem for an entire generation.

Seriously, it is one of the most uplifting and life-affirmingsongs of theyear so far and Shawn and Khalid compliment each other on it perfectly. Thesingle has us already hoping that the two singers will join forces for another collaboration in the future.

'Youth' is the third single taken from Shawn's self-titled third album after 'In My Blood' and 'Lost In Japan'.

'Shawn Mendes'come out this month on May 25th after Shawn performs at the Billboard Music Awards.

We cannot wait to hear the LP and find out what he has planned for the show.
