Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello smashed a doe-eyed cover of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Kiss Me’.

After delving deep into his iPhone videos, Mendes stumbled upon a black and white clip of the pair harmonizing on the song from Sheeran’s album,'+', which, intriguingly, is a song all about two best friends that fall in love. (Rumour mill ACTIVATE!)

This video raises two questions. Number one: what other covers has Shawn got buried away in that iPhone of his? 'The world needs to see everything you’ve got in there, Shawn.'

Number two: are Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello an item? This video, sweet as it is, might just be two friends – who just so happen to be two of Planet Earth’s biggest pop stars – putting their voices to good use.

As Shawn told People, Camila, to him, is only "one of those people who is just very easy to connect with and [is] still, to this day, is one of my greatest friends."

Camila rejected the idea of dating a fellow singer (Shawn Mendes, the singer)even further, saying that “artist boys are crazy.”

Speaking to Seventeen, Camila said, "Shawn and I are great friends. That's why we write so well together — we have fun!"

She continued: "If you meet somebody who you really like and they're in the entertainment industry, you wouldn't be like, Oh, well, this might not turn out well. The thing is, artist boys are crazy."
