Sherlock Holmes Has Premiere

Robert Downey Jr., who plays the title detective, and Jude Law (Holmes) were both in Leicester Square to launch Guy Ritchie’s action re-imagining.

 

Speaking to reporters Downey Jr talked about his chemistry with Law. He said: “They're talking about Jude and I like we should be doing romantic comedies together or something. But this film is not a comedy and it's a love affair of sorts.

 

 

“But I think that Holmes and Watson are aspects of all of us and I think that we knew when to yin and yang back and forth and we were just a good team.”

 

Also wrapped up warm on the red carpet were stars Mark Strong, Kelly Reilly and Rachel McAdams.

 

The movie is released on Boxing Day.
