Shia LaBeouf Apologizes To Taylor Swift
The Transformers star just can't stop getting into 'Trouble'...
Shia LaBeouf is on a one man mission to apologise to the world via Twitter, it seems.
The latest victim of Shia’s controversial tweeting is Taylor Swift, who Shia first mocked and then – you guessed it – apologized to.
Shia’s latest controversy kicked off when he wrote on the social networking site: “I try to read as much as I can. I try to read an informative article every day to stay read up on our world issues.”
Accompanying the tweet was a link to a blog post criticizing Shia’s alleged plagiarism.
However, the tweet, it turns out, was lifted from a talk Taylor gave to schoolchildren in 2012 about the importance of reading. And in case you thought that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, it’s not in this case.
Shia’s inclusion of the critical blog post, which was filled with spelling errors, suggested he didn’t think much of Taylor’s reading habits.
A couple of hours later the Transformers star clearly regretted his hasty tweet as he wrote on Twitter: “I WILL APOLOGIZE TO TAYLOR 2MRW. WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD!!!! EVERYBODY WANNA BOOOOO ME BUT I’M A FAN OF REAL POP CULTURE!!! NO DISRESPECT.”
And the next morning he added: “When I woke up from the crazy nightmare I looked in the mirror & said GROW UP SHIA I take responsibility for my actions sorry @taylorswift13.”
Taylor has yet to respond to the actor.
