Shia LaBeouf Arrested After Disturbance At Musical
Star reportedly led away crying in handcuffs from performance of Cabaret...
Shia LaBeouf has been arrested after allegedly causing a disruption at a Broadway show last night.
The eccentric actor has been charged with two counts of disorderly conduct and one count of criminal trespassing, for smoking and using obscene language during a production of Cabaret at the Studio 54 theatre.
"He was being rather difficult and combative, verbally... to the point where security guards asked him to please leave the premises and he refused," NYPD spokesman George Tsourovakas explained.
"Police were called and he was detained and arrested."
And Tony-nominated songwriter Benj Pasek was among the witnesses, taking to Twitter to share what he saw.
"Just saw Shia LaBeouf in handcuffs in tears surrounded by 6 police officers outside of CABARET the musical. Oh New York, u is a crazy b**ch"

Variety quoted another witness as saying: "Honestly, I wasn’t thinking of drunk or drugs.
"I was thinking he was working on a role, because it was that extreme."
LaBeouf famously wore a paper bag daubed with the words "I am not famous anymore" on his head at the Nymphomaniac premiere back in February.
