We can reveal that Coldplay, Duffy and Britney Spears lead nominations
The MTV Europe Music Awards nominations are out today with Coldplay, Duffy and Britney Spears leading our all important lists.
FIND OUT WHO IS THE FIRST ACT ANNOUNCED TO PLAY LIVE AT THE EMAs
They all have three nods whilst Rihanna, Miley Cyrus and Jonas Brothers are among other artists up for EMA statues.
Our awards take place at the Liverpool Echo Arena on November 6 with the biggest acts in music set to appear and perform.
The winners of every category will be decided by the public and you can vote at our dedicated EMA website
Battling for the Act of 2008 are four strong females- Rihanna, Amy Winehouse, Leona Lewis and Britney- and Coldplay.
Katy Perry, Coldplay, Duffy, Kid Rock and Pink compete for best track of the year.
Rock legends The Cure, Foo Fighters and Metallica are also up for MTV Europe Music Awards.
