After disappointing sales of her new album and last two singles, the gorgeous Jamelia finally had something to celebrate over the weekend.
The singer turned 26 on Thursday and her footballer boyfriend Darren Byfield organised a surprise party for her at London celeb hangout the Embassy Club. Guests included Chelsea and England star John Terry with missus Toni Poole, Darrens Millwall team mates and West Hams Anton Ferdinand.
So lots of Jamelias friends then.
Meanwhile The Daily Star reports trouble at tmill for newlyweds Preston and Chantelle.
The pair apparently had a blazing row after the Ordinary Boys frontman was spotted holding hands with his ex-girlfriend Camille Anzar by one of Chazzas pals. A source told the paper: Preston has been known to join Camille and (his sister) for coffee when theyve been shopping in Brighton and he always tells his missus about the meetings. But she was shocked when a friend said shed seen him holding Camilles hand.
She went barmy but Preston insisted hed bumped into his ex and was simply comforting her after she told him that shed had some bad news. Nonetheless the BB winner has told her hubby to keep his distance from his ex. Boys will be boys? Not likely!
And finally, a truly bizarre story to kick the week off.
After being arrested on suspicion of stealing a car on Saturday night, Pete Doherty apologised to missus Kate Moss by giving her a box of eggs.
No, not cream eggs, the type laid by chickens " six to be precise. The singer was snapped carrying the carton back to Kates Cotswolds home " apparently as a peace offering.
A source said: Kate was fuming when she heard he had been arrested again, and it will take more than half-a-dozen eggs to make up for it. Perhaps the fact that cops have decided not to pursue the matter any further will help.
