See SiCo, Becks, Vin Diesel And More Take Ice Bucket Challenge
Cheryl Cole's in the firing line after being nominated by X Factor boss Simon Cowell...
Watching celebs get doused in freezing cold water is starting to feel like part of our daily morning ritual, like that first cup of tea and checking in on Facebook.
And today's crop of famous faces taking the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is possibly the most A list so far - with Simon Cowell, David Beckham, Tom Cruise, Vin Diesel and Charlie Sheen all getting in on the act.
SiCo gets a serious case of the giggles as he talks on his video clip, shot on his yacht somewhere warm and sunny.
Shortly before his partner Lauren Silverman pours the ice bucket over his head he nominates his fellow X Factor judges Cheryl Cole, Louis Walsh and Mel B to take part.
So since he's their boss and that could be considered a direct order, we're looking forward to tomorrow morning already.
Retired football ace David Beckham is seen shirtless on some ropey camera phone footage as he accepts the challenge laid down by Ryan Seacrest.
He nominates Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan and Leonardo DiCaprio before having a huge barrel of icy water poured over him.
Tom Cruise and his Mission: Impossible 5 director Chris McQuarrie also upped the ante by "taking a hit on behalf of the team" and enduring seven-and-a-half buckets of cold water apiece.
They also donated extra cash on behalf of the absent members of their cast and crew.
Vin Diesel performed his challenge standing up in the rear of a pick-up truck, pouring a bucket of ice over himself rather than just water.
And he aimed high with his nominations - naming Angelina Jolie, Michelle Obama and Vladimir Putin.
Charlie Sheen put his own twist on the challenge, struggling to lift a big saucepan above his head before dramatically tipping it out so that paper money tumbled over his head.
He explained: "Oh wait, that's not ice. That's $10,000 in cash which I am donating to the ALS Foundation, as let's face it, ice is going to melt, but this money is actually going to help people.
"So I am hereby calling out John Cryer, Chuck Lorre and Ashton Kutcher to identically do what I just did.
"Come on guys, it's for a great cause. Have a great day."
